It's not a common thing, working for the Initiative. as far as everyone seems concerned, 'old initiative' is grouped in with the transports, and the new initiative is about as helpful as decaf coffee. but if there's anyone who's going to be an emissary... it's goodman.

but i don't think we should be looking to them for direction. they don't have the technology, or the education to do what we're doing, or to even jump in and help out. i doubt if they've never seen the transporter before, they have any timeline technicians.
