and that's the problem, isn't it? if you put a frog in a pot of water and brought it to a boil while it was in there, it won't know it's being boiled alive until it's already burned. but boil a pot of water and then stick a frog in it, it'll get the fuck out. your lot had the latter done. this lot has the former.

the ue is all about utilitarian. if the planet's gone to shit, what's the point in taking it over? they're going to want it fixed first. it hasn't changed who they are, or what they're working towards. it's only made the initiative's effort even more difficult, because of reasons like what you said. 'hardly seems like this place is hurting much' so why stir shit up?
