[She'll have dropped off his present by the time he wakes up, most likely: one ordinary journal with the first few pages filled up with her handwriting regarding everything she knows about him and his life. The 'additional notes' section (in other words, the blank pages that follow) have an additional message that anything he wants saved, she'll come write, so that displacement won't erase it from existence. ]
